Early in their journey, Homewerks encountered the limitations of the standard Birst implementation methodology—missing skill sets, few templates, and complex integration points. To keep progress moving, they adopted a hybrid approach, using Microsoft Power BI and a custom data warehouse for broader analytics while leveraging Birst where deep Infor integration and security were essential.

Their experience underscores an important reality: while Birst remains the ideal long-term solution for integrated analytics within Infor CloudSuite, that ideal is not always achievable through standard implementation or as a one-off custom project.
