Discover how TUG Member Homewerks balanced analytics, BI limitations, and Birst integration in M3

Join TUG and Agile Dragon Group (ADG) for a candid discussion on how Homewerks Worldwide tackled analytics during their M3 implementation—balancing goals, constraints, and the realities of limited BI expertise. Presenters Joe Marasso, Vice President of IT at Homewerks, and Ching Cooper, Head of M3 Analytics and Product Manager for Dragon Pack® Financials at ADG, will walk through how Homewerks navigated the challenges of delivering reporting across M3 and WMS within the Infor ecosystem.

Early in their journey, Homewerks encountered the limitations of the standard Birst implementation methodology—missing skill sets, few templates, and complex integration points. To keep progress moving, they adopted a hybrid approach, using Microsoft Power BI and a custom data warehouse for broader analytics while leveraging Birst where deep Infor integration and security were essential.

Their experience underscores an important reality: while Birst remains the ideal long-term solution for integrated analytics within Infor CloudSuite, that ideal is not always achievable through standard implementation or as a one-off custom project. This session explores what’s possible today, why typical approaches often fall short, and how ADG helps M3 and WMS customers bridge the gap—aligning practical reporting needs with the power of Birst.
