2 New SIGs: AIM and FPI

Two New Special Interest Groups (SIGs) Forming

TUG to form Advanced Inventory Management (AIM) and Fluid Power Group (FPG) SIGs.

AIM SIG
During a recent planning session with Infor Product Manager, Kelly Squizzero, former TUG Director and AIM SIG founder Mary Loucks, TUG association manager Gary Brown and AIM SIG advisor Grant Howard, a mission for the proposed AIM SIG was developed as follows:

  • To provide a network of users to share information, solutions, education, cost share and influence the direction of the product.

  • To develop a list of enhancements and bug fixes relating to inventory management.

  • To act as a sounding board for Infor before they make any changes to the inventory management programs in SX.enterprise

  • To help provide direction for future components of the Evolve product as it relates to inventory management.

The group is currently working on identifying a founding committee who will refine an existing list of desired bug fixes and improvements developed over the past several years and documented by Grant. Infor is also working internally to form a team to collaborate with this SIG.

Once the core committee has refined the enhancement request list, Infor will work with the group to review and provide feedback and to map out a plan of integration into future releases or point releases.

To nominate yourself or another interested party for the core committee of this SIG, please contact Mary Loucks at Bolt Supply in Calgary, ON:  This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it
